Juliana, an accomplished educator, joined BSB in 2022 as the Key Stage 3 Coordinator. Her journey in education began in 2006 when she graduated from St Mary's University College, Twickenham, with a four-year teaching degree in Physical Education. Juliana's early teaching experience was at an all-girls Independent School in Guildford, Surrey, where she enthusiastically led Hockey and Athletics programs.

In 2010, Juliana embarked on her international teaching career, spending two years in South Korea as the Primary PE Coordinator. She then moved to British School Manila, where she made significant contributions for seven years. During her tenure, she served as the Assistant Curriculum Leader for four years and Head of Year for three, demonstrating her commitment to both academic and pastoral excellence. In 2019, Juliana returned to the UK to pursue a full-time Master's degree in Psychology of Education at the University of Manchester, furthering her professional development and expanding her pastoral expertise.

In 2020, seeking new experiences, Juliana moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to join the PE department at British International School Riyadh's prestigious new diplomatic quarter campus. While there, she also served as the Pastoral Lead in the Senior School, showcasing her dedication to supporting students beyond their academic journey. Juliana is excited to assume the role of Assistant Head of Secondary at BSB in 2022, leveraging her leadership skills to contribute to the ongoing development of our school.

Juliana's impact on consolidating the experiences of students in Key Stage 3 has been noticeable and commendable. Her diverse background, international teaching experience, and passion for holistic education make her a valuable addition to the Secondary Leadership Team. With her leadership and unique perspective, she will without doubt continue to support the growth and advancement of the British School of Beijing.
