Master's degree, PGCE
Ghyslain has a Master’s of Enterprise Management degree and a Teaching certificate from the University of Sunderland, U.K. He has been teaching French as a Foreign Language in International schools in Beijing and he also has an English teaching certificate. His love for sharing his skills with others especially the younger ones leads him to gain more technical skills that could be used to support the youth in his community and students in his classroom, regardless of their background or learning needs and talents. He also believes that every student is different and has a different style of learning.
He is currently working on a Master’s degree in Special Education Needs with the University of Sunderland. He decided to get this degree because he is convinced that all students have the ability to succeed academically if they have the right tools, so for him, it is extremely important to learn more about the different ways he can support every single student especially those who are sometimes left behind by the society because of their special needs. Additionally, he is very excited to be joining the BSB community and happy to contribute to the work of this wonderful team of students and teachers. He is looking forward to keep improving himself as a teacher during his time at BSB, also help his students grow intellectually.
Ghyslain likes to make an impact in other people’s life. In his free time, he volunteers and works with Nongovernmental Organisations where he has the opportunity to work with teenagers and underprivileged people. He empowers them with entrepreneurship skills that will help them to change their mindset and take ownership of their own communities to find themselves solutions to their own problems and provide independently for their own living.
