Elva has a Master of Education from Flinders University, Australia, a Master of Business Administration from University of Wales, U.K. She has ten years of teaching experience in Business Studies and Economics across the Australian National Curriculum, IGCSE, and A level.
She has participated as a core designer in the school's multi-disciplinary programme, responsible for making short-term and long-term curriculum plans. She has also organised Business competitions in/outside the school, such as ASDAN, BPC, SIC, BPA and LIBF and have several academic publications in the local and international journals from 2019 to 2021.
Prior to joining BSB Shunyi in August 2022, Elva was the Business Subject Head at another international school in Beijing.
