BA, CELTA
Claire graduated from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications with a Bachelor’s Degree in English in 2006. All through her university years, she worked with a variety of services that supported children's learning and gained considerable teaching experience doing so. After graduation, she accepted the offer of a trade company first and then a logistics corporation.
In 2017, she came to realize that teaching is her true passion and therefore joined the family of the British School of Beijing, Shunyi as a teaching assistant. A year later, she became a supply / cover teacher in EYFS, which was an exciting and rewarding experience. In 2018, she completed her CELTA and received the top grade of A due to her outstanding competence in terms of planning and lesson delivery.
Starting in August 2022, Claire embarked on a new role as a Primary EAL teacher, which she is passionate about. Working with children is fulfilling and enjoyable to her. Claire's goal is to create a warm, safe, positive, and nurturing environment where her students can flourish not only academically but also as individuals.
Claire enjosy spending time with her family and she loves nature. In her spare time, they go to the mountains or parks to enjoy the beautiful views of nature and refresh ourselves.
