Alex has a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) from University of Sunderland and 3 degrees from National University of Singapore - Master of Social Science (Applied Economics), Bachelor of Social Science with Honours (Economics and Statistics) and Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Statistics).
He has taught IB Diploma Business Management, Economics and MYP Social Studies and have more than 20 years of business experience to share with students about real-world economics and international business.
Alex joined BSB Shunyi in 2022 as an Economics and Business Management Teacher. He is passionate about connecting students with the global community and also took on the role of IB Diploma Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) coordinator in 2022. He is from Singapore and effectively bilingual in English and Chinese. He is a life-long learner and hope to share this passion with his students!
