Year 11 Residential Update from Anji 2023

To succeed in the world, our students first explore it! Our residential programme is an integral part of our curriculum here. It broadens our students’ horizons and help them form lifelong friendships. We have worked closely with our service providers to ensure that the students will experience a wide range of engaging and educational activities that include elements of cultural immersion, challenge, and community building.

Day 1

A long journey ends in some excitement after our flight this morning - kayaking treetop challenges, rock climbing and even a cooking traditional rice dishes that we can’t wait to try! Overall a great first day!

Day 2

Another action-packed day with fierce competition out on the water with the kayak games and at the campsite with the village building challenge. We had the chance to see the amazing views during our hikes too. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Day 3

Y11 trips first taste of traditional mud building techniques as well as an action packed day which covered everything from more village building competitions to rock climbing. And tonight we are all looking forward to our night walk!

Day 4

Students continued to challenge themselves to be more creative, adventurous and brave, completing workshops including Earth House construction and a whole host of other action packed tasks which taught them new skills. We look forward to the final bonfire tonight before heading back to Beijing tomorrow.
