Jayden Kim - Imperial College London and UCL Offers!

Our congratulations to Euiseong Kim (Jayden)!  He has received offers to both Imperial College London for Biotechnology (ranked 7 in the world by QS World University Rankings), and University College London (UCL) for Biochemical Engineering (ranked 8)!

Jayden has achieved an excellent IB Diploma score of 43 out of 45. Since joining BSB Shunyi, he has taken part in all aspects of school life, just to name a few here:

• He has won several monthly subject awards, along with a prize in our internal house debate competition
• He has been a member of our basketball team
• The rock band he plays with has performed on multiple occasions at school events
• He has created academic Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) such as teaching Key Stage 3 students both the biology and practicalities of growing hydroponic potatoes!
• Externally he has performed quite well in the American Math Competition (AMC), receiving a national award.
• Outside of school, his outreach and volunteer activities in in his own community have been meaningful, both with the Wangjing Korean Library and help with an elementary Korean school form.

Well done! We are confident that Jayden will graduate from BSB with everything he needs for success – whatever he chooses to be or do in life.
