Dear Parents,

At The British School of Beijing, we are constantly seeking ways to inspire, engage and enthuse our students into getting the most out of the premier education that we provide for them. As such, for a group of 25-30 students, we are organising a trip to London, England. The trip will provide students with an experience of British culture and will include a day trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon, the home of William Shakespeare.  In London, students can expect to visit Parliament, The National Gallery, Tate Modern, The British Museum and a visit to the West End Theatre.

This trip is a great opportunity for all students including those studying English as an additional language, and students with a passion for History, Geography, English Literature and Art & Design.

The trip is scheduled to leave on Friday 26^th of May 2017 and return on Friday 2^nd June 2017 which is just before the end of the summer term.

We will be staying at the Safestay Hostel (or equivalent) in Elephant & Castle, a short 5 minute bus or subway ride to central London.

The approximate price based on 25 pupils will be between 15,000 RMB per person which will include flights, transfers, accommodation and all the above attractions. Breakfast is included in the price, but unfortunately lunch and evening meal is not, and students should budget for between 150-200 RMB per day for this provision.

There are between 25 -30 places available, and the interest from the pupils has been fantastic. I hope that you are able to support your son/daughter on a trip of a lifetime, by filling in the reply slip at the bottom and paying the 1000 RMB holding deposit in cash. Please reply by November 10th, 2016. It is important to add that the deposit is non-refundable. I will write to you again regarding a payment system and any additional information that you will need
