Where is home?

Living abroad and moving often from a country to another can be an exciting adventure, but children, and later, adults, can feel disconnected from their “origins” as they do not fully own their parents’ culture and create one of their own.
In order to understand this process, BSB and International SOS invites you to a workshop presented by psychologist Dr Theo A Cope.

Dr Theo A Cope will cover:
* Different types of TCK
* Adaptation process and challenges
* Finding balance
* Raising multi-lingual children
 * Advice for parents of TCKs 

Dr. Theo A Cope

Dr Cope holds a Postgraduate degree in Applied Psychology and is a Certified Family Consultant and Psychotherapist with accreditation from Germany

He is a member of the World Association of Positive Psychotherapy and the International Federation for Psychotherapy (IFP).

Dr Theo Cope has been practicing counseling and psychotherapy since 2000. He has worked in various settings within organizations and private practice, treating a variety of mental and psychological issues. As a Generalist, he works with children, teens and adults, and has worked with a wide variety of diagnostic realities including, mood and anxiety disorders as well as developmental disorders in children. He has also provided training for Chinese counselors and therapists, and has joined the mental health department as a psychologist in 2014.

This workshop is open to the community.
