Sport Update

Dear BSB Sport Followers,

As Season 2 is coming to a close, just a reminder that Season 3 will formally begin the week of Monday 1^st February. (U19 boys/girls football, U14 boys/girls basketball, & U11 boys/girls t-ball). U13 FOBISIA training will continue on top of our ISAC sport schedule and the swim training schedule remains unchanged from Season 1/2. If anyone has any questions concerning the upcoming Season 3 sports and training times do let me know.

Season 2 ending tournaments all happen over the next 2 weeks. First up is the boys D2 ISAC basketball tournament hosted here at BSB this Saturday 16^th January. Our boys play THIS at 0900 in the Gym to start off their tournament.

U14/U13/U12 boys/girls Volleyball is scheduled to have their ISAC season ending tournaments on Saturday 23^rd January: U14 D1 boys @ISB, U14 D1 girls @WAB, U13 girls @HISB, U12 boys @DCB, & U12 girls @BSB.

U11/U10/U9/U8 Handball is scheduled to play in the Third Annual BSB Handball Invite, split over two days - Tuesday 26^th January for girls & Wednesday 27^th January for boys. Both Invites will start at 10AM and finish by 2PM.  Parents again are invited to attend.

Then on Thursday our U19 ACAMIS Basketball teams departs for Shenzhen, China to participate in the Annual Basketball Championships (Squad Name list below). The host school Shenzhen International School Nanshan (ISNS) has communicated the following web site to watch/follow all the action LIVE: http://www.acamisbasketball2016.com . Our ACAMIS teams will return to Beijing on Sunday 31^st January.

Finally, U10 ISAC Handball Championships are scheduled for Saturday 30^th January @DSP. Boys will be playing in the morning & girls in the afternoon.

Again a very busy few weeks before the Chinese New Year Holiday and after we get back from CNY holidays, we are scheduled again for a load of tournaments and sport trips so do stay posted as we finalize all travel plans for U13 FOBISIA, FOBISIA Golf, ACAMIS Swimming, & U19 ACAMIS Football. If any parents have further questions concerning these sports trips do let me know.

It also gives me great pleasure to confirm the finalized U13 FOBISIA Squad. This year marks one of our largest and incredible talented squads which travel to St. Andrews Green Valley, Thailand in March.
