Join Our Open Morning
Last week the children in Reception had their first local trip to the Italian Bakery. Due to this being their first trip with their class we thought it would be a good idea to take them somewhere local so that they could get used to knowing what is expected of them during a school trip. We talked about staying with your adult and partner and the importance of road safety when crossing the road (Stop, Look, Listen).
When we arrived at the Bakery the children got the chance to choose what cake they would like to buy for a member of their family as our topic is ‘My Family’ for this half term. Upon our return to class the children wrote and decorated gift tags for their cake boxes and we attached these to their individual cake boxes. The staff at the Bakery were very helpful and happy to see our eager but polite children and said that we are welcome again any time!
