Many of our students move to our sister school in Shunyi in Year 7, where graduates have gone on to attend the top universities in the world – universities like Oxford, Cambridge, KAIST, and UC Berkeley.

National Curriculum for England
Our Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception classes follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) programme. This introduces little ones to all sorts of skills and knowledge, and we give them the attention they need at this crucial stage of their development.

Key Stage 1
Key Stage 1 covers Years 1 and 2. Building on the skills introduced in Early Years, students develop in maturity and begin experiencing more formal methods of learning. Using the National Curriculum for England, our teachers take a skills-based approach to enable children to develop their social, cultural and academic understanding.

Lower Key Stage 2
Lower Key Stage 2 comprises Years 3 and 4. Our developing students enjoy a positive, stimulating, yet challenging learning environment which builds on the experiences from Key Stage 1. We encourage students to become independent learners who take pride in their work and strive to achieve results.

Upper Key Stage 2
In Years 5 and 6, the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum builds on the knowledge, skills and understanding established in Lower Key Stage 2. Key subject areas include literacy, numeracy, science, ICT, PSHCE and weekly sessions of PE and performing arts. We have a theme-based approach to history, geography, art and Design & Technology to stimulate cross-curricular thinking.
