Inspiring Leadership | Meet our new House Captains Helping to support and encourage the confidence that our future leaders will require is of vital importance. Meet our new House Captains, their aim is to work hard to continue to nurture our strong school spirit and community.
There is no limit to what BIS Houston students can achieve. We encourage every child to develop strong skills and values so they can thrive academically and socially. Our Be Ambitious philosophy inspires our students to challenge themselves and achieve more than they may have thought possible. Helping to support and encourage the confidence that our future leaders will require is of vital importance.
Meet our new House Captains, their aim is to work hard to continue to nurture our strong school community spirit.
Our new leaders competed against candidates in an election campaign at the end of last year. Our students looking for elections had to produce a video introducing themselves and outlining why they wished to join our House Captain team, followed by voting from our school community for the election of all the positions.
After the election process was complete and our House Captains were announced, our Bulldogs were presented with special "Bulldog House'' pins ready to lead our House Teams with our values of pride, unity & respect.
We are delighted to announce, this year's House Captains:
Representing Earth, Year 6 Students: Patricio & Nanne
Representing Air, Year 6 Students: Mia & Daniel
Representing Fire, Year 6 Students: Valeria & Hannah
Representing Water, Year 6 Students: Mathilde & Hannah
Our House Captains work closely with our Senior Student Leadership team. We wish them success for another awesome and memorable school year. Our teams will help organise and support House activities including, Inter-House Competitions such as House Sports, Music, Talent Shows and raise funds to support local charities and community service projects.
Congratulations to our new House Captains. There is no limit to what they will achieve!
