Dear Parents,
I hope you all had a wonderful Spring break over the last two weeks and enjoyed some family time together. It has been wonderful to welcome all our students back this week, all of whom seem to have grown taller again over the holidays! It is always lovely to see our students smiling and reconnecting with their friends after a break and in particular, our youngest students in F1 who have come in with increased confidence each morning this week – well done everyone!
Our Year 6 students set off, full of excitement and anticipation on Tuesday morning for Hoi An, on their residential trip. A jam-packed week of activities, new and exciting experiences in the beautiful setting of this ancient town. Scavenger hunts in the old town, learning traditional farming techniques, beach activities and much more has made for the most incredible week for our senior Primary students. We can’t wait to welcome them back later this evening.
Year 2 had a wonderful start to the beginning of Term 3. After the fantastic performance of Bee Musical last term, it was their turn to be part of the audience and enjoy the show as they went off to see the Famous Water Puppet Show. It was a fantastic performance enjoyed by everyone.
Our first Curriculum Parent Connect is on next week with Ms. Beasant on Questioning in the Maths Classroom. Parents in F3 and Year 1 are invited in on Tuesday 18th April, and Year 2-6 on Wednesday 19th April. We hope that you can join these useful sessions and please remember to sign up if you are able to join.
Don’t forget, the third block of CCAs begins next week, we look forward to seeing our students engaging in new activities over the course of the term.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Head of Primary
As the academic year whirls by, the first term in primary school draws to a close, marking the end of a whirlwind of learning, growth, and new experiences.
As we move towards the end of term, our Primary exit points are always a great celebration of learning that has taken place over previous weeks and months.
At BIS, in addition to the excellent opportunities we are providing in the classroom, we enrich the students experiences and learning by taking them on day trips.
