Education is a journey filled with curiosity, discovery, and growth. As we move towards the end of term, our Primary exit points are always a great celebration of learning that has taken place over previous weeks and months. This week, the End-of-Topic Showcases in Years 3 and 6 offered wonderful opportunities to bring parents into the classroom to witness firsthand the incredible progress their children have made during a specific learning unit. The students were sharing vibrant displays, sharing their creativity and the hard work and effort that had gone into their learning this year. There was an abundance of smiles, wows and proud parents celebrating their wonderful children.
After a busy and bustling week in the Primary school, we celebrated the end of the week with Christmas Jumper Day. With one week to go until the Christmas holidays, there was a festive spell over the entire campus. This spirited occasion not only adds a burst of colour and merriment but also teaches children the joy of giving, spreading kindness, and embracing the true spirit of the holiday season. Leading beautifully into and ensuring everyone was ready for our very first Community Christmas event in the auditorium the festive season has certainly landed at BIS.
Next week we get into the Christmas spirit even more with Christmas performances from our Early Years children. We can't wait to see their performances and celebrate the upcoming holidays together and look forward to seeing parents join us for this event.
Wishing you a relaxing weekend and thank you for your continued support.
