Dear Parents,
Dear Parents,
At BIS, in addition to the excellent opportunities we are providing in the classroom, we enrich the students experiences and learning by taking them on day trips.
One of the primary advantages of school trips for young children is the opportunity for hands-on learning. These excursions bring subjects to life, allowing students to engage with the material in a tangible and memorable way. Whether it's a visit to a museum, a science centre, or a historical site, children can touch, see, and experience the concepts they've been studying in class. This hands-on approach not only enhances understanding but also fosters a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
That was evident across the EYC this week, with F2 and F3 going out on trips across the city. The children were so engaged with experiences, and it really brought learning to life for both year groups on Tuesday and Wednesday. One of our F2 children told me, 'It was the best day ever!' as they smiled all the way home.
These are the magical moments we strive to provide for our students to enrich their learning and experiences at BIS.
As Term 1 comes closer to the end, there are exit points happening, Christmas events, and lots more, so let's enjoy these final few weeks of the term.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend.
