Dear Parents,
As we move towards the Spring Break next week, we have been reflecting on how much the students have grown, how well they have settled this year and how proud we are of the progress that they have made so far this year. In another wonderful term, jam-packed with learning, exciting experiences and sporting achievements, the joy of seeing parents in school cheering on their children, engaging in their learning and celebrating their progress is just magical.
Next week I am delighted to announce that we have our first Primary Show, ‘Bee Musical’, performed on Wednesday, 22nd March in the auditorium. Having seen a brief snippet of the show this week, I can promise our Year 2 parents that you are in for a fantastic show. The performance begins at 2 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
Another welcome return after three years is our Primary Residential Programme. Next week Year 5 and Year 4 students set off to Cuc Phuong and Ba Vi respectively. We are so excited to be waving off the students on these exciting trips and know they will have a wonderful time. We will keep parents updated with posts on Class Dojo.
Finally, I look forward to seeing you all at the Moose and Roo this Sunday at our Spring Social. There are various activities and plenty of space for the children to play, a chance for adults to catch up and connect. The Spring Social will run from 10:30 – 13:00; it will be a great way to celebrate the end of another fantastic term!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend,
Rebecca Carroll
Head of Primary

As the academic year whirls by, the first term in primary school draws to a close, marking the end of a whirlwind of learning, growth, and new experiences.
As we move towards the end of term, our Primary exit points are always a great celebration of learning that has taken place over previous weeks and months.
At BIS, in addition to the excellent opportunities we are providing in the classroom, we enrich the students experiences and learning by taking them on day trips.
