Weekly update from Head of Primary
Dear Parents,
Another exciting week has flown by!
This week was time for the Year 6 children to experience a sleepover on our school campus. Before the lights went out, they had a wonderful evening of entertainment from basketball, cooking, arts and crafts, football, movie watching, and delicious pizza in the canteen! It was wonderful to see the students bonding and participating enthusiastically in all activities.
On Thursday and Friday, we were very lucky to welcome Nicola Davies, an award-winning UK author, to BIS Hanoi. All Primary students got the chance to visit the library and participate in a workshop with Nicola, tailored to either reading or creative writing. What a wonderful opportunity to promote the love of reading and develop their creative writing skills!
Congratulations to our Primary FOBISIA team, and we wish them all the best for the coming sporting competition that will take place in Thailand next May. They will train hard until then!
We would also like to thank all the 3B students and Ms. Tracey for their wonderful assembly last Friday. The students shared their news of Happiness with confidence and poise, showing their knowledge of the world beyond them. They made us very proud.
To conclude this amazing week and prepare for the next, make sure you sign up for our coming Primary Parent Connect workshop on well-being. Mr. Watkins will explain how we support students in identifying their emotions using the Zones of Regulation. He will also share a few strategies to best support your child at home. The workshop will take place on March 3rd. More information will be available soon.
Wishing everyone a great weekend ahead,
Rebecca Carrol
