Key Dates | Primary Learning Highlights
Dear Parents,
Welcome back. I trust you all had a wonderful rest and enjoyed some sunshine over the holidays, whether you were near or far from Hanoi. There are several events coming up in the next few weeks for parents to be aware of, and I wanted to share them with you this afternoon.
Halloween Dress-up Day on Monday gives all students the chance to dress up and have some spooky fun with their friends whilst raising money for a good cause. Blue Dragon is one of our community partners. If your child would like to take part in this event, please send them to school in a suitable costume with a donation at the ready.
Maths at Key Stage 2 Drop-in:
On Tuesday November 1st, parents are invited into lessons to see learning in action in Maths lessons across Key Stage 2. This will be followed by a workshop led by Charlotte Beasant, our Primary Maths Lead. The workshop will focus on how we teach Maths in the classroom and the CPA approach.
Finally, on Friday the 4th of November, we invite our parent group, Friends of BIS, in for coffee to look at some upcoming events and to kick start some projects in our community. It will be a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents and brainstorm ideas for the coming events.
We look forward to seeing you there. Please fill in this form HERE to register.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

As the academic year whirls by, the first term in primary school draws to a close, marking the end of a whirlwind of learning, growth, and new experiences.
As we move towards the end of term, our Primary exit points are always a great celebration of learning that has taken place over previous weeks and months.
At BIS, in addition to the excellent opportunities we are providing in the classroom, we enrich the students experiences and learning by taking them on day trips.
