Weekly update from Head of Primary

Dear Parents,

It has been absolutely wonderful to welcome new students of Years 2-6 onto campus and deliver our long-awaited face-to-face induction this week.

As we move now back to campus for Year 2 – 6 students, we will begin a new and exciting phase of mornings in school and afternoons online. We will work together and support you and of course the students through this next challenge but can’t wait for Monday morning to hear voices and chatter in the corridors and to have our classrooms, back as they should be with students in them.

Important update: As of 18th February, the local authorities have just postponed their previous decision to allow schools to return to on campus learning next week. As such our Virtual School Experience will continue for F1 to Year 1 as well as Year 2 to Year 7 students until further notice.

Our spotlight on learning returns this week after the Tet holiday with a focus on Year 5. I hope you enjoy these highlights and look forward to sharing more in-class learning next week from Year 6.

Stay safe and enjoy a restful weekend.

Rebecca Carroll

Head of Primary

Primary Learning Highlights

What an amazing start after the long break Year 5s had!

They have embarked on another exciting journey, becoming historians, art critics, mathematicians and authors! We're delighted to see the level of enthusiasm that Year 5s showed throughout all the activities they engaged in and we’re excited to see where the new topic and learning takes our students by the end of term.
