Future : Learning Through Innovations! Today, our lives are far more convenient and easy, with everything we need at our fingertips. The world of computers is growing at an un-recordable rate everyday, and needless to say that computers are the most influential tools in our lives, they are our present and future. We also need to remember at the same time that what we have today is the culmination of hundreds of years of scientific progress and breakthrough. “Inventions such as the Internet and mobile phones have changed the world forever”, I am sure we all agree with this statement and experience the same in our day-to-day living.

At BCB our students are involved in a lot of research and innovations. Technology has certainly changed the way we live. It has impacted different facets of life and redefined living.

Technology has revolutionized the field of education as well. In fact, with the onset of computers in education, it has become easier for teachers to impart knowledge and for students to acquire it. The use of technology has made the process of teaching and learning all the more enjoyable.

It is indeed remarkable to see how our Year-7’s are set to thinking about the concept of artificial intelligence and understand it in depth and trying to analyse it’s working in different areas of implementation. The self created dictionaries in computing shows a significant milestone achieved in understanding the concepts in detail. The enhancement of research and development skills is sure to be with them for a long journey.

Talking about logical reasoning and understanding the binary codes language, looking at a different perspective of quantum cryptography, our Year-8’s thoroughly enjoyed the activity of encoding and decoding messages in a whole set of combinations of 0’s and 1’s.

Thinking about designing your own house or architecture? Our Year-9’s will be more than happy to produce and create a large number of 3D models, also suitable for large architectural projects. Easier to learn, the tool is a good pick for interior design, using impressive 3D visualization tools. SketchUp has an OpenGL renderer for creating realistic 3D models and it is undeniably a proud moment to see our students gaining excellence in it.

Apart from setting up your own network Our Year-10’s are all set to create a new software database application for any client requirement. Understanding the theories of a DBMS can help your business stay organized and keep information easily accessible, so that you can use it in the most effective approach.

Undoubtedly, technology plays an important role in every sphere of life. Several manual tasks can be automated, many complex and critical processes can be carried out with ease and greater efficiency. Thanks to the application of technology, living has changed and it has changed for the better.

Technology is all around us, from the smartphones and smartwatches to solar-powered street lights and all-electric cars. So how do we define technology? Are there any criteria that can be used to define the term “technology?” Can fire discovered by a caveman hundreds of thousands of years ago be considered as technology? These are some of the questions to ponder upon for our students at BCB.
