This week in Physical Education lessons, our students in year 8 and above are continuing to complete their fitness logs. By recording their physical activities, students are able to monitor the fitness they have done and also check their progress.
I have been very impressed with the maturity and independence shown by our students in the way they have taken control of their own learning. Although current circumstances may limit the extent of what physical activities students can access, many students have been resourceful and have played basketball, football, tennis or they have gone running and cycling. If they have not been able to access outdoor activities, then students have been doing fitness workouts at home.
Students in year 7 have been learning different types of fitness workouts and are now beginning to create their own. Ultimately, they will design a fitness video.
The Nord Anglia STEAM Festival 2025 offers Year 9 and 10 students a unique opportunity to collaborate with peers on hands-on projects focused on sustainability and global challenges.
