Parents, as many of you know, one of the most popular events that we host each year for our Secondary students is the Nord Anglia Global Games. Unfortunately, due to travel restrictions surrounding COVID-19, we will not be able to offer the event this year.
With that in mind, we are excited to be offering the Inaugural Nord Anglia Virtual Games! This event, which is open to all BCB students in Year 7 - 9, will feature an E-Sports competition involving students from across all Nord Anglia schools in the Americas Region (North, South, Central America). Students will play for tournament championships in 5 games on their X-Box or Playstation (Rocket League, FIFA Soccer, Madden Football, NBA Live/NBA 2K, and NHL Hockey) during the friendly event and will receive spirit apparel as part of the registration package. The total cost to enroll is $175 and will cover everything associated with the event. (Students will need to have their own gaming console to compete).
Competitions are set to begin on November 21st and will be scheduled so that they can be played from home at times that will not interfere with their academic class time.
If you are interested in this event, you can register and/or find out more information by visiting https://www.nordangliaeducation.com/americas-virtual-games. The deadline to register is October 25th.
