World Book Day 2019 World Book Day took place on the 23rd April and it was a wonderful opportunity for the children to delve into the realms of the fantastic and fully immerse themselves in some amazing, thrilling, adventurous and incredible stories. Screen Shot 20190426 at 134947

World Book Day took place on the 23rd April and it was a wonderful opportunity for the children to delve into the realms of the fantastic and fully immerse themselves in some amazing, thrilling, adventurous and incredible stories.

There were some fabulous costumes, from Willy Wonka to the Cat in the Hat- and many more in between!

The children enjoyed sharing stories with children from other classes and year groups which enabled them to show off some of their wonderful reading skills.

We have had many entries for the Extreme Reading Competition- thank you so much for these, from children reading whilst doing perfect handstands, to being sat in the cockpit of a plane- it is all very impressive!
