Partnership with Academia Manoel dos Santos

Throughout the year, BCB Cidade Jardim partnered with Academia Manoel dos Santos to offer swimming lessons to all students. All students at Cidade Jardim Campus are offered a 4-week swimming unit at Manoel dos Santos under the supervision of Mr. Dias, our Physical Education teacher. During the month of March, we had Years 1 and 2 going to the pool and in April, it will be Years 3 and 4 time to develop their swimming skills. Foundation Stage children already had their swimming unit earlier this year. Apart from being an amazing exercise, swimming is an essential life skill and therefore an integral part of the Physical Education curriculum at BCB.
