7 students joined me this week from Key Stage 3 and we made a battery from fruit. We found that 5 pieces of fruit were needed to make our LEDs light up. We also found which metals worked best as our electrodes. Watch out for next week as Mr Veitch is planning to build rockets.

I would like to take a moment to shine a spotlight on the fantastic work of one of our exceptional teachers in the secondary school.
Last week, we traveled as a group of Year 10-12 students to Tanzania for nine days. It was a remarkable and enlightening experience that created a significant impact on our lives. We have helped to improve the lives of the less fortunate and create better opportunities for them.
