The Glowing Muons win prestigious 2024 CERN Outreach Award - The Glowing Muons win prestigious 2024 CERN

We are thrilled to announce that The Glowing Muons from St Andrews Bangkok have been awarded the 2024 Outreach Award from CERN’s Beamline for Schools competition!

"We want to make physics accessible to everyone by sharing our experiences and the amazing opportunities we've had!" - The Glowing Muons (Year 13 students Im, Niio, Nina, Paak, Pun P, and Pun W)

This year, 13 teams were selected to receive a special award for the science outreach activities that they have already carried out or will carry out in their local communities. The special SSVI telescope is offered by the Belgian project “Stars Shine for Everyone” and signed by Nobel Prize Laureates and CERN’s General Director. This achievement reflects their dedication to making science education more inclusive and engaging for all.

Congratulations to the team—we can’t wait to see how you continue to inspire young minds!
