Nord Anglia Student Advisory Board
Fostering active citizenship begins with ensuring our students' voices are heard and empowering them to drive positive change. To support this, Nord Anglia Education established a Student Advisory Board. This board brings together elected student leaders from NAE schools worldwide to collaborate, deliberate, and decide on funding and implementing impactful social initiatives in their local communities. Each year, the board allocates funds to support student-led social impact projects on a global scale, making a real difference where it matters most.

Kate S joining the Nord Anglia Student Advisory Board as part of the Social Impact Programme
We’re thrilled to announce that Kate S, one of our exceptional St Andrews International School Bangkok Year 13 students, has been selected for an incredible opportunity—she’s joining the Nord Anglia Student Advisory Board as part of the Social Impact Programme! In this prestigious role, Kate will be helping to review applications from other schools for the Social Impact Grant, a programme designed to support meaningful projects that make a difference in our communities.

If you see Kate around school, please take a moment to congratulate her on this amazing achievement. It’s a testament to her hard work, leadership, and commitment to social impact. We’re so proud of her, and we’re excited to see her bring her passion for positive change to the wider Nord Anglia community.

Future Plans for St Andrews
We’re also hopeful that we can tap into Kate’s expertise and experience to help St Andrews with a future Social Impact Grant application. Having her on board is an inspiring opportunity for all of us, and we look forward to the fresh ideas she’ll bring to our school community.

World Children’s Day Wellbeing lesson
But Kate’s accomplishments don’t stop there! She has also planned the school-wide Wellbeing lesson for World Children’s Day, which will be held next Wednesday, focusing on children’s rights and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Her lesson will encourage students across all year groups to reflect on the importance of children’s rights, fostering understanding, empathy, and a strong sense of community—values we hold dear here at St Andrews.

Congratulations once again to Kate! We are grateful for her leadership and dedication, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll continue to make both here and beyond. Thank you for representing St Andrews Bangkok so well, Kate!
