Congratulations to Angelina, Melodie, Riddhi and Seymur, who achieved the best marks in Thailand in their IGCSE courses at St Andrews International School Bangkok! All four ranked as top scorers for their respective courses this last school year: Angelina in IGCSE Business Studies (June 2023), Melodie in IGCSE Spanish (June 2023), Riddhi in IGCSE Business Studies (November 2022), and Seymur in IGCSE French as a First Language (June 2023).
They were presented with their awards at the Cambridge Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards Thailand 2023 Ceremony, a prestigious event in which they were accompanied by their parents and Ms Liz and Mr Gray – who also happen to be Angelina and Riddhi’s Business Studies teachers.
IGCSEs at St Andrews

Following the English National Curriculum, Year 11 for our High School students at St Andrews culminates in taking their IGCSE exams.
Our IGCSE programme offers an extensive choice of 34 subjects – the most of any school in Bangkok. Along with traditional courses in the Arts, Humanities, Sciences, and Languages, we provide specialist options like Dance, Photography, Physical Education (PE), Economics, and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Curating a selection of their own courses will allow your child to develop a tailor-made study programme of their own choosing, one that fulfils their individual passions and helps them develop a unique set of transferable skills.
Typically, the students sit their IGCSE exams at the end of Year 11. They’ll also complete coursework, which is marked internally and can account for as much as 50% of their final grade.
