Your education and other work experience(s)
Nottingham Trent University and University of Nottingham.
Business Studies and Economics Teacher for over 3 years at Thai-Singapore International School, Samut Prakan, Thailand.
Who do you admire and why?
I admire people who have a positive outlook on life and make an effort to help and support others around them. With all of the modern day distractions, it is easy to become caught up in our own world and lose perspective on what really matters. Seeing people give up their time and make an effort for others really inspires me to do the same.
What areas of research/topics continue to capture your attention in your field and why?
Economic inequality and development. Living in Bangkok, we get to witness great amounts of inequality on a daily basis. It makes me think of what causes this and how we can help tackle these issues.
What hobbies do you have and what do you love about them? And what are your other interests?
I love to exercise and play various sports - mainly football, tennis and running at the moment. I love it because I can socialise whilst doing something healthy and it's great for improving my mood!
What do you feel most passionately about and why?
Making the most out of life by doing things that are challenging and fun, and surrounding myself with the right people. This is important so we can enjoy each day and look back on life without regrets.
