Term 2 draws to an end! What a term it has been! We have loved seeing the Flames & Marlins back in action with so many positive performances across the board. Term 2 was full of training & fixtures and we enjoyed seeing every minute of our young athletes back in competition doing what they love!

As we look forward to an action-packed Term 3 full of Sport, here’s a reflection on some of our sporting highlights and achievements from Term 2.

Primary School 

  • 595 different Primary School students took part in a Sport in Term 2.
  • 191 different Primary School students represented the school in competitions.

"We had competitive fixtures and events for Basketball, Football, Golf, Swimming, Touch Rugby and Tennis.  Plus we have started our very first Volleyball ECA and in Term 3 we start Netball for the first time. 

A huge well done to everybody who took part! We look forward to all the sports in Term 3 where we aim to have 300 different children represent STA in sport!

Events to look forward to in Term 3 include our own Flames Redball Tennis Tournament, the Friday Night Game, our Flames Dance Festival, Bangkok Games and lots more fixtures and competitions." - Mr Damon 

High School

  • 559 Different High School students took part in a Term 2  Sport. 
  • 386 Different High School students represented the school in competitions in Term 2

"We saw Basketball, Badminton, Football, Golf, Swimming, Rugby, Tennis, Touch & Volleyball teams make a strong return; as well as Cricket, Netball & Water Polo compete for the very first time. A huge well done to everybody who took part!" - Mr Adam
