This week, four Senior VEX teams did incredibly well in the VEX Robotics Thai Nationals, pushing themselves to win a spot at the VEX World Championship in Dallas, Texas, to compete with 4000 teams from around the world. We also have a University Update as our students continue to receive fantastic university offers. After the excitement, and successes, in hosting the VEX IQ Juniors Finals in February, this week our four Senior Teams travelled to NIST for the VEX Robotics Thai Nationals.
All four teams did incredibly well, pushing themselves to try to win a spot at the VEX World Championship in Dallas, Texas, to compete with 4000 teams from around the world.
Mr Rob, Ms Holly, Mr Marc and Mr Sam, and everyone at St Andrews, are very proud of all of our teams’ successes.
Next week, our Embracing Differences Department invites us all to join them to celebrate Embracing Differences Week and diversity and inclusion at St Andrews, linked to both today’s World Down Syndrome Day and Autism Awareness Week.
Each day will begin with a short video during Registration, with Embracing Differences students and students from their Tutor Groups also hosting a variety of stalls and activities planned throughout the week.
The week will culminate in a 'Rock Your Odd Socks' Dance next Friday lunchtime when we hope to see even more students that participated in the recent International Women’s Day Zumba sessions.
