This week saw the final preparations for the U13 & Varsity Football teams, before their trip to the BISP Soccer 7s. The boys were in action against Shrewsbury whilst our girls played against LFIB over the weekend. Good luck to all our travelling teams and we look forward to hearing back from you next week!
We also had Varsity and Junior Varsity BISAC Basketball preparation with games against St Stephens & Trinity International Schools this week. It was good to see our older players showing off their skills and we look forward to a competitive season ahead!
As our fixtures move very quickly and we’re now beginning season 2, we keep our community with our BISAC Fixtures & Results here.
We also use our STA HS fixtures calendar to keep our community updated, this includes other fixtures, friendlies and events. As we work with so many schools we often have changes to these fixtures, so please add this calendar or refer to Moodle for the most up to date information.
This December St Andrews International School Bangkok has a range of opportunities on offer for all of our community. From Basketball & Mini Tennis camps to help players develop existing skills and learn to love the game to Performance camps designed give the complete athlete experience and help players take performance to the next level.
These camps are run by our Flames coaches with sign up available via Moodle, if you require any more information please contact Mr Adam or Mr Damon.
Please stay up-to-date by joining our STA Flames & Marlins Facebook group for parents and students who are part of our Sport Programme. Parents may post to this group and it’s been great to see some of your photos of our kids in action!
As part of the St Andrews Careers programme, Year 10 and Year 12 students had the valuable opportunity to hear from 20 industry professionals, including alumni, about various career pathways. The morning panel discussions provided insights into professional routes, required qualifications, and essential interpersonal skills for workplace success.
As Term 3 comes to an end, three senior students, Eleonore, Natalie, and Ananya, reflect on their experiences in the IB Diploma Programme at St Andrews International School Bangkok. Perhaps one of the most meaningful projects Ananya and Natalie took on during their senior studies was starting a foundation with a few other friends called Today4tomorrow – an initiative to provide opportunities to underprivileged girls in Thailand.
