Now that Aladdin has been cast we move swiftly on to A Christmas Carol!
We are excited to get started with our winter production again this year: A Christmas Carol. This is a great opportunity for St Andrews International School Bangkok KS3 students as they are the stars of the show! If you love acting, being creative and expressing ideas through performance, then sign up on Moodle. The ECA will begin on Wednesday 11th September, we would love to see you there. If you would like a backstage role please come and speak to Ms Stacey or Ms Shelley. In the meantime, you can keep up to date with everything Scrooge by signing up to the google classroom.
If the big productions feel a little overwhelming this year, then please come and join our House Drama Competition. This competition is a great opportunity to work with your friends to create an exciting and original piece of theatre. The work will be shown in October and the winning group will receive copious House points for their house. Rehearsals start Tuesday 27th August for KS3 and Monday 2nd September for KS4 and KS5, at lunch time, in 6gB. You can come on your own or in a ready made group, the choice is yours. See you there!
As part of the St Andrews Careers programme, Year 10 and Year 12 students had the valuable opportunity to hear from 20 industry professionals, including alumni, about various career pathways. The morning panel discussions provided insights into professional routes, required qualifications, and essential interpersonal skills for workplace success.
As Term 3 comes to an end, three senior students, Eleonore, Natalie, and Ananya, reflect on their experiences in the IB Diploma Programme at St Andrews International School Bangkok. Perhaps one of the most meaningful projects Ananya and Natalie took on during their senior studies was starting a foundation with a few other friends called Today4tomorrow – an initiative to provide opportunities to underprivileged girls in Thailand.
