PAWs Bangkok visit the Library and receive the donation from the sale of used books. There is still lots going on in the Library this week and the winning entries from the poster competition are now on display. Please remember that the Library closes at 3.00 p.m.on Thursday 13 December and will not reopen until January.
We were delighted to welcome the famous ‘Train Kitty’, who brought Tung Ngern plus Doctors Puk and Tuktan along, to visit us in the Library to receive our donation from the Used Books Sale. The total donation made was 7,220 Baht and the Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2 children really enjoyed meeting them all and handing over their sparkly envelopes of cash.

Maybe a class can ‘adopt’ a cat who needs long-term care at the centre

Ms Dimple enjoyed sorting through all the books and collating your orders ready for collection and distribution. Thank you again to everyone who made purchases and contributed to our whoppingly good 316.84 GBP in Rewards earned. We hope you all enjoy reading your new books over the coming holidays.
Hoorah - no more big empty wall! We are delighted that our fabulous new posters are now on the wall in the Early Years corner of the Library. Do pop in and see them when you can as they really do look amazing. Congratulations once again to Aidan, Mady, Maeya, Aysha and Nice for their fantastic designs.
Please don’t forget that the Primary School Library will close early at 3.00 p.m. on Thursday 13 December and will NOT be open on the following last day of term, Friday 14 December, due to the annual Merit Making ceremony. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and please do plan to return all finished books and choose your new books for the holidays before 3.00 p.m. on Thursday. We are now date stamping books for 7 January onward to cover the extended break. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

This week the children will continue making Special Wishes for our magical Wishing Tree as well as designing their own beautiful Christmas cards and writing Christmas Haiku poems.
As we reach the last week of Term 1 we can let you know that we have lent out a staggering number - 15,113 - of books since we started on 20 August! We hope that you have enjoyed all sixteen weeks of our selections for our 'Books of the Week' for the younger children (PB) and our primary fiction (PF) choices in the 5/6+ and 8+ categories AND all of our beautiful non-fiction (PNF) books. We hope you enjoy this final week’s selection. Don’t forget to stock up on your children’s reading before 3.00p.m. on Thursday 13 December when the Library will close early for the Christmas break.
