Last Wednesday was our fantastic, fun Sports Day in Y3 & 4. The children had great fun competing in the variety of activities both on the field and in the Sports Hall. The morning finished off with some very exciting relay races, even one for parents, teachers and Y6 (which the teachers won!) Well done to everyone who took part, but, as always, there can only be one winner. This year’s Y3 & Y4 House Sports Day champions were Yao!
Last Monday Y6 got to sample what life will be like for them next year in High School. They spent a full day over at our High School campus, sampling a variety of lessons and getting the first ever viewing of the High School production- Grease. The students had a great day and were all excited about getting to explore the new campus and experience life without just one classroom teacher.
Don’t forget to take part in Ms Sarah’s Term 3 STEAM competition: STREET SMART

The KS2 production, The Jungle Book, is taking place on Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th May at 4 pm in the Drama Studio. Tickets will be available to reserve from this Wednesday, 9th May. Reservations will initially be open to families of cast members before going on general release on Monday 14th May. Keep an eye on your inboxes for an email containing the reservation form.
Following on from Elizabeth Jarman’s recent visit, the KS2 teachers have been looking at the shared learning spaces in the R building. These areas look fantastic and provide the children with comfortable areas in which they can take their learning outside of the classrooms. Please come and take a look at these improvements that have been made to the Y3-5 learning environments.
This term, we are going to be focusing on a few different aspects of the What Makes A Great St Andrews Community which we are going to be grouping under the theme of Choose Kind. Keep an eye out for more details.
