HISTORY AND HERITAGE

The British International School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL) was founded in 2009. We’re now home to more than 1,200 students from 63 different countries.

From day one, our goal has been to support the unique needs, talents, and ambitions of every child. We also strive for excellence in everything we do, making us the private school of choice in Kuala Lumpur. For three consecutive years, our A-level results have been the best of any Nord Anglia school in Asia. In 2022, every single one of our A-level students passed their exams, with 68% getting A+ or A grades. And at IGCSE, 80% of our class of 2022 earned A+ or A grades. These results are significantly higher than independent British curriculum schools in the UK.

In 2016, we opened a new secondary campus onsite, which is a modern, spacious, and stimulating environment for our older students. We also pride ourselves on our happy, vibrant environment, which fuels a culture of ambition and success.

BSKL is a fully licensed international school, approved by the Malaysian Ministry of Education. We also hold accreditations with the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA), University of Cambridge International Examinations, and Pearson Edexcel.
