A triathlon is an athletic event that consists of swimming, cycling and running. The event will be held throughout the month of November 2020. The community event will take place virtually with students participating from Nursery through to Year 13. We are encouraging all family members to participate.

We appreciate that a Virtual Triathlon will have its challenges. Therefore, the measurements below are only a guide. There will be no timings or medals awarded, only House points. You can create your own course; we only ask that safety is a priority. We do encourage our athletes to attempt all 3 disciplines, one after the other, in order to feel the accomplishment of a triathlon.

Participants will need the following items in order to participate in the event;
On the day of the event – any day in November; athletes will start in the swimming pool or on their chosen alternative cardio activity. All participants should wear their House top during the cycle and the run. House points will be awarded to all entries.

We look forward to keeping a record of House scores throughout the month of November. Remember the triathlon is an event that encourages young people to ‘get off of their gadgets and devices’ and to physically participate in sport. How will you contribute to your House and which House will win?
