We have three playgrounds on the NAISR campus. Our two smaller playgrounds for our Child Care Centre and Early Years students are located on the front and the side of our building. During the Summer of 2019, we installed a brand new playground at the back of the school for Primary and Secondary students to enjoy.
We also recently renovated our large indoor sports hall. Specialist Physical Education teachers use both the gymnasium and outdoor fields for Health, Advisory and Physical Education (HAPE) classes, After School Sports Activities and Team Competitions.
The Northwest European Council of International Schools (NECIS) Sports Council organises inter-school tournaments and has grown into an organization that boasts eleven member schools from seven different countries located in northwest Europe. NAISR teams attend the NECIS tournaments and also host other schools at NAISR.
The NECIS tournaments are held at various times of the year and, in addition, NAISR teams participate in regular weekend games. For many students, the NECIS tournaments provide experiences and friendships that last beyond their time at school.
Our various sport and play areas are complemented by numerous sports facilities located within close proximity to the school, including a nearby swimming pool, where students receive swimming lessons.
