NAIS Pudong Scholarships
Scholarship applications are now open.
We’re delighted to launch our brand new NAIS Pudong charity Advent Calendar for 2024, and you can pre-order yours now! The advent calendar is a centuries old tradition that helps with the exciting daily countdown through December to the Christmas celebrations on 24th and 25th. These days many calendars – including ours – contain delicious chocolates to be enjoyed each day.
As well as being a fun festive activity for people of all ages, every cent of profit we raise from the sales of these advent calendars will support our students in fundraising for the Seeway Tanzania (www.swtz.org) charity, who do incredible work alongside Nord Anglia Education schools in supporting and developing under-privileged communities. Our students have been taking part in this expedition for many years, and will continue to do so for the next trip in February 2025.
The calendars will be delivered to you in mid-late November. Those purchasing from outside the NAIS Pudong community who need the calendar to be delivered will need to provide full contact information and pay the small SF courier fee after purchase. Stock is limited, so sales will be on a first-come, first-served basis. You can buy one by scanning the QR code on the poster.
We were excited to restart our Industry Expert sessions this week, offering a wonderful opportunity for specialists from a variety of professions to speak to our senior students about both their individual pathways and their specific industries. Our first session this year saw Dr Jeorge Ducha - a paediatrician with almost 25 years of clinical experience and part of the Parkway healthcare group in Shanghai – talk to our students about his career, his current employer, and the medical profession in general.
Following a rigorous selection process including letter-writing, public-speaking, a student vote, and individual interviews with the Heads of Schools, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Leia and Jeffrey as this year’s Primary Head Students, and a group of students in this year’s student leadership programme in Secondary.
