NAIS Pudong Scholarships
This year, our Early Years Christmas performance was nothing short of magical! The show opened with a charming adaptation of We're Going on a Bear Hunt. From early morning, parents eagerly gathered at school, their excitement palpable as they awaited the start of the show.
As the curtain rose, a delightful scene unfolded—our young performers transformed into elements from the story, including River, Snowstorm, Mud, Forest, and Grass. The cuteness was almost too much to handle! Of course, the family characters and the adorable bear stole the show, especially when our cheeky bear unexpectedly wandered onto the stage, sending the audience into fits of laughter.
Parents captured every precious moment with cameras and phones, from a shy little tree shedding tears under the spotlight to a playful mud baby running into the snowstorm. While some parts were delightfully chaotic, every moment was undeniably special.
After the Bear Hunt, it was time for the singing performance! Accompanied by our talented music teacher, Mr. Thompson, the children performed three songs with heartwarming enthusiasm. Their efforts earned thunderous applause and cheers from the audience. Well done, kids—you made us all so proud with your genuine and heartfelt performance!
This event not only marked the beginning of the holiday season but also highlighted the hard work and dedication of our teachers and students. From rehearsals to costumes, every detail was meticulously prepared, ensuring a memorable show.

At NAIS Pudong, we strive to achieve our values, one element of which is building confidence in our students to help them better prepare for life after education. But what about building the confidence to question one’s approach and strategy in tacking tasks or ideas?
On the last day of Term One, Principal Diane Vaughan conducted the termly Principal's Awards, this time celebrating the outstanding contributions of students who exemplify one of the school's core values of being considerate.
On 9th and 10th of December years 7-9 students were given the chance to debate on a given present-day topic. A debate is a structured discussion where individuals present and defend their viewpoints on a topic, aiming to persuade others with well-supported arguments.
