Dear Parents,
If you are new to NAIS and Hong Kong - please join our Newbies WhatsApp group - it’s a great way to meet fellow NAIS Hong Kong parents and ask any questions about school life and living here in general.
Even if you are an old hand you are welcome to join us too - we always appreciate some expert advice! Already we have met up for coffee, and this week have drinks planned - there’s also a few shopping trips on the horizon so please click here and say hi!

PTA Community Outreach
During the Tuesday of mid-term break week, a few of us from the outreach group set out to cook and distribute lunch boxes for the needy along with Ms. May in Sai Kung. Read the story of Ms. May here.(at Oct.7 PTA update)
What a Grateful day sorting vegetables, washing and cooking, being with nature, packing meals, driving to the destination and later distributing them to the needy! There can't be a better way of finding companionship for a greater purpose than oneself.
None of our little comrades were hungry or tired until 2 pm when the mission was completed.💕
So happy to come together to spread some cheers and smiles.🙂↔💫🌈
- Manju Raja (Mom of Adidev & Aaryan)
Being at the Kitchen Farm, supporting the invaluable work of Mrs. May, has given our family a meaningful glimpse into a reality that's often distant from our privileged lives.
I am deeply grateful to Manju for organizing this experience and to all the parents and children who made the day a memorable one filled with action and support for those in need. 🙏🏼🫶🏻🙌🏽
- Andrea Estrella Chávez (Mom of Emma and Paula)
Hello, my name is Artemisia from 4B. Today, I went to become a volunteer to help prepare food and hand out for homeless people. I was shocked when I found out they didn't have the usual things we have in our daily life. And I heard lots of stories about why they became homeless. Some have financial problems. Some have drug problems, and some have family problems. I believe the teaspoon of change can help them. If everyone takes a small step, let them feel love surrounding them. That will be great support for them to face their troubles. Hope that more people care about the homeless people's situation. Let them have the warmest home again. Thank you. - Artemisia Hou Yue LAI (4B NAIS Hong Kong)
Doing the cooking and distributing was the best day of mid-term break - Aaryan Raja (6D)
