Pantastic: the Musical

Our Year 2 Krylatskoe students recently wowed audiences with “Pantastic, the Musical”.

Based on James Barrie’s timeless classic, this contemporary musical adaptation of Peter Pan took audiences on a journey to Neverland, where Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell, and the Lost Boys all battled the despicable Captain Hook and his band of pirates.

When Wendy and Tiger Lily were kidnapped by the pirates, it hardly seemed possible that the ever-youthful Peter could find a way to rally the Lost Boys and defeat the pirates once and for all. Our students performed with all the boldness and excitement you would expect from such a spirited tale. Our parents were on the edges of their seats until Captain Hook had played his final ‘hand’.

All of us are so proud of our students’ efforts and growing confidence. It’s a pity the Oscars had already passed as all the children’s efforts were certainly worthy of consideration. Everyone showcased their budding confidence and the gathered crowds responded with great enthusiasm.

Thank you very much to Ms Harbuck, Mr Barry, Ms Grady, Ms Alirezaei, Mr Rix, Mr Lorcan, and Ms Shustrova for helping to bring the best out of our wonderful Year 2 students in this fantastic production!
