Cross-Country Championships

On the 9th of September the ISM PE Department hosted its annual cross-country event. The event this year was attended by our friends from The British School of St Petersburg.

On the 9th of September the ISM PE Department hosted its annual cross-country event. The event this year was attended by our friends from The British School of St Petersburg. This was an even bigger event than we hosted last year, with 150 ISM students signed up from across our three campuses. Thank you to all the PE team for driving sport and promoting our event!

Students from Year 1 to Year 10 participated in fantastic conditions on our Lower Campus and experienced a true cross-country course, running across challenging terrain which required concentration and great skill The temperature was perfect for the competitors running the course.

Well done to all our students for competing in such an intense and challenging course. As ever our ISM students proved to be successful, winning the Boys Under 13s and Under 15s event. Our girls were not to be outdone, winning the Under 11s, 13s, and 15s event.

Although our students all performed exceptionally, our star performer on the day was Eleonora in Year 9 who won the girls under 15s event and set a new course record!

Next year we will aim to get more schools involved and an even greater number of ISM students involved, great job young Lions!
