This week, our school had the privilege of welcoming World Champion and Olympic gymnast Diana Borisova for an unforgettable Rhythmic Gymnastics masterclass. Students from our claasses, had the unique opportunity to explore the art of this elegant sport under the guidance of a true champion.
The event was met with great excitement as students tried their hands (and feet!) at tricks with rhythmic balls and even attempted some graceful upside-down positions. Diana Borisova and her team from Dynamique brought energy, expertise, and encouragement, ensuring every student felt inspired.
A Memorable Experience for Our Community
Teachers who observed the session were equally captivated. "What a great experience for our kids! Diana and her team made it such a fun and educational day," one teacher remarked. "The sessions were incredibly popular, and the children loved every moment."
Another teacher shared, "Our courageous 3A students had so much fun attempting tricks and learning exercises with Ms Borisova. Huge thanks to her and her school Dynamique for making this possible."

Research shows that confident students are more likely to succeed academically.
In fact, several science-backed studies cite self-confidence as the number one predictor of academic achievement. Researchers found that students with greater confidence were more willing to learn and challenge themselves. They were also more motivated, resilient, and capable of dealing with adversity.
At the International School of Moscow (ISM), our job is to build and nurture positive self-esteem in children. But what is confidence? And how does it affect academic performance?
