SCHOOL UNIFORMS

The purpose of our uniforms at Country Day School is to minimize distractions and to help students keep themselves neat, modest, and well-groomed. We believe that concern for personal appearance is an indication of self-respect and courtesy to others, creating a favorable climate for learning.

Student Uniforms at CDS

Costa Rican law requires all school-age children to wear their school’s designated uniform as described in their handbooks. Coming to school in uniform is considered a minimum expectation for each student every day.

CDS attaches as much importance to the spirit as to the letter of the uniform, and we look to students and families to comply with both. We expect that parents, without exception, will work with us in supporting and enforcing the uniform.

The school uniform, along with other CDS items, may be purchased at the CDS campus store.

The CDS store is open from Monday to Friday from 7:45am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 4:00pm.
