Collège du Léman is thrilled to celebrate another year of outstanding academic achievements. This year, our school is proud to have seen the largest graduating cohort in its history, with 214 students reaching this important milestone. Their remarkable results underscore the continued success of our personalised and holistic educational approach. Our graduating class of 2024 has achieved remarkable results across various diplomas, reflecting the dedication, hard work, and exceptional talent nurtured within our international school.
Students attained a perfect pass rate of 100% in both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP). On the francophone side, our Swiss Maturité and French Baccalaureate graduates also maintained a perfect pass rate of 100%. Additionally, 99.4% of our students earned their American High School Diplomas, and 82% of those who took Advanced Placement (AP) exams passed, significantly surpassing the global average of 60%.
Collège du Léman celebrated these exceptional achievements at the unforgettable Graduation Ceremony held at Théâtre du Léman in June, featuring heartfelt performances by our talented students as families, staff, and graduates came together to honour this significant milestone.

International Baccalaureate and American High School Diplomas
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
This year, we’re proud to announce that we’ve completed a quadruple, maintaining a perfect 100% pass rate for four straight years! Our IBDP students excelled. Out of 76 candidates, 12 students earned diplomas with scores over 40. The average subject grade was 5.47 out of 7, and the average diploma score was 35, significantly surpassing the global average of 30.32. Notably, one of our students achieved an impressive score of 43 out of 45, underscoring the high caliber of our IBDP program and reinforcing our commitment to academic excellence.
International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP)
Our IBCP students also achieved a 100% pass rate. They received a Certificate of Completion from the prestigious institution of SUMAS (Sustainability Management School) for their Craft-based Learning Week, highlighting the practical and career-oriented aspect of their education. This success reflects the strength of our IBCP program in preparing students for their future careers.
American High School
In the American High School exams, 173 out of 174 of our students achieved the American High School Diploma – an outstanding 99.4% pass rate that highlights their hard work and dedication.
Advanced Placement (AP)
In the AP exams, 128 students participated, with an overall pass rate of 82%, well above the global average of approximately 60%. Among these, 77% achieved scores of 4 or 5, out of 5. The average AP score was 3.56, reflecting the rigorous academic preparation and dedication of our students and faculty.
Swiss Maturité and French Baccalauréat Diplomas
Swiss Maturité
Our Swiss Maturité students also excelled, achieving a perfect pass rate of 100%. Of the 11 candidates, the highest score attained was 118 out of 126, 2nd best on national level, with 50% of students scoring over 100 points. The average score was 100, showcasing the remarkable abilities and dedication of our students in this challenging programme.
French Baccalauréat
Our French Baccalauréat students maintained a flawless pass rate of 100% for the eleventh consecutive year. Out of 28 candidates, 86% received honours, with 29% earning very high honours. One student was awarded the “Félicitations du Jury”, i.e. the highest academic distinction by the Jury. The average score was 14.6 out of 20, demonstrating our students' exceptional performance and thorough preparation in the French Bac.
In the IGCSE exams, 75 students took their assessments, with 50% achieving A*-A grades and 95% earning grades A*-C. These impressive results highlight the strong academic foundation and excellence of our secondary education.
University Destinations
We are proud to share that our graduates have been accepted into prestigious universities around the world. Most of our graduates successfully met the conditions for admission to their top-choice universities. Specifically, 27% of our students will be heading to institutions in Switzerland, 25% will continue their studies in the United Kingdom, 23% have secured spots at universities in the United States and Canada, 19% will be heading to universities across other regions globally, and 6% are taking a gap year.
