Highlights from the Past Week
  • 5B used their Earth Day Bake Sale funds to plan, design, and create a new native, edible, and pollinator garden in Elementary. Students will soon visit a local nursery to meet with experts to learn about plant care and purchase the garden’s plants. Students will then start the next phase of the project - planting the garden.
  • Mrs. Knott, one of our 2nd grade teachers, spent a week in Florida participating in a NAE Middle Level Leadership conference which is part of her yearlong fellowship.
  • Early Childhood students attended our High School band’s end of the year concert where they enjoyed seeing our Juilliard partnership come to life through music.
  • During our Wednesday professional learning, our teachers continued aligning mathematics priority standards across grade levels by working collaboratively as grade level teams. Staff also engaged in planning social emotional learning strategies to implement within the classroom through a guided book discussion.
