Dear Secondary Families,
What a year it has been! I want to take a moment to thank you all for your continued support over the last four years serving first as the High School Principal and now as the Secondary School Principal.
Through my years here I was able to see young teens become young men and women ready to tackle the challenges of life outside of CDS. I have seen squirrely 6th and 7th graders mature into middle school leaders. And I have worked with some of the best faculty and staff in my career.
I take a small piece of CDS and Costa Rica with me to my next adventure. This place sprouted my love of international education, planted the seeds of learning in my children John Asher and Emerson, and pushed me to be the best educator that I can be.
Thank you to the students, parents, and teachers who continue to make this place special. I wish nothing but the best for CDS.

The summer reading assignments are available in this link for all secondary students this summer including MS students. Please go to the class next year in order to find your work. There is summer reading in all English classes and there is work in certain AP courses. If there is nothing in the folder, then it means there is no summer reading/work.
HS schedules will be available Monday, June 13. Please email the HS office for the schedule of classes students will be taking next year. It is from there that students will be able to check their summer reading/work if they are taking AP courses.
