PANTHER EXPERIENCE OPEN HOUSE
Jose Luis Menendez
Secondary Principal
Thank you for coming out to both Virtual Open Houses this week. We were happy to see parents’ faces gracing the screens of our Zoom rooms. I do want to apologize to those of you who experienced issues accessing some teachers’ zoom room during our open houses, especially Thursday. We believe the issue was on the software side of the platform. Zoom recently updated their platform and having different versions may have played a role in some parents not being able to access rooms.
Please email our teachers if you didn’t have an opportunity to meet with them, and they will be more than happy to set up a time to chat.
This week we celebrate Costa RIca’s day of independence with assemblies on Tuesday and Wednesday in the HS and MS.

Student Spotlight: Miya Babchuk ‘21
Miya Babchuk has a passion. A passion for music, playing the piano, and for taking action. Miya is an accomplished pianist having played at some of the world’s most famous music halls including Carnegie Hall in New York City. I recently saw a video Miya made sharing her call to action of musicians and artists to celebrate diversity amongst artists, especially women composers and composers of color. There’s no need for me to explain her words. I invite you to watch for yourself.
